Tyce is home

Our precious baby boy, Tyce Aiden Galaska was born Wednesday, November 19, 2008. Just like in the pregnancy, Tyce took his sweet time getting here during labor & delivery. I was in labor for 22.5 hours at which time, they said that due to Tyce's head being turned funny that I needed to have a c-section, so that is what we did. Praise God, I gave birth to a healthy baby boy at 5:10 am. He is doing fantastic. I am healing, but may take a bit for my body to recover. Mike is already a great father. He has changed dirty diapers, and looks like a natural handling a squirmy newborn.

Today is Tyce's Due Date!

Here I am on Tyce's due date. He shows no signs of coming. But he is worth the wait. If he comes next thursday, he will have the same birthday as his Uncle Jeremy and Great Grandma Keith. If he waits two weeks, he might have the same birthday as his daddy. We will just have to wait and see!



For those of you as concerned about the President Elect as we are... just remember to pray for our new leader. God has a way of using ANYONE to accomplish something good for Him.

39 Weeks.....

I went to the doctor today. He says that Tyce is as snug as a bug in a rug and not planning on going anywhere anytime soon. Apparently, Tyce seems quite happy in his warm cozy bed. Do you blame him? I tried to tell him that it was time for him to come, but I guess I am going to take after my mom and be late :-(
We are very grateful that his heart beat is strong and we both seem to be doing very well.

Waiting Patiently

It is amazing how slowly time goes when you are waiting on something so exciting. It is like when you are little and waiting on Christmas morning! We have everything ready for his entrance so he is welcomed to come any day! Only a week and half til his due date. So what do you do while you are waiting? Have a party! Last night we had some friends over to do pumpkin carving. Check our our creations!

Growing through the months!

Meeting our Baby Early...

We went and had a 3D/ 4D ultrasound. It is absolutely amazing. I felt like we got to meet him. You can see his little face. Take a look. We can already tell he has Mike's nose. It made us very anxious for him to get here.

35 Weeks! And almost there!

I can't believe that the human body can change this much in 9 months! And I never thought I would be carrying a basketball around on my stomach. I enjoy being pregnant, but I will also be so excited to have our son here to hold & see!!!
